Hiking
A noteworthy spiral staircase leads up into the keep. The ascent is rewarded with a 360-degree panoramic view. Here you can walk in a full circle before descending the narrow spiral staircase again.

Hiking
The climb to the top of the keep's tower is worthwhile. The view over the city, the countryside, the Saar River, and the picture-perfect vineyards with rows upon rows of vines is a true experience. But beware! The metal spiral staircase that winds its way up inside the tower is narrow and not for everyone. Crossing the stairs is not possible. Anyone carrying a heavily loaded backpack should think twice about taking it upstairs.
