The Linz main square is the city center of Linz and with 13,140 square meters one of the largest converted squares in Austria. It is only separated from the Danube by a road and the buildings on the bridgehead.

The main square is one of the most beautiful, always like to walk this, only what bothered me this year was the ice ball to 1.50 ¬ that's me a little heavy - but who wants it and has the only / yet.

The center of the city is the baroque main square of Linz, which with around 13,200 m² is one of the largest built-up squares in Austria. In the middle of the main square there is an impressive 20 meter high column that was completed in 1723. The column, which was made of white marble, is dedicated to the Trinity and was erected out of gratitude for the disasters survived and to protect against conflagration, war and plague. As a marketplace, the main square of the city of Linz soon helped to an economic boom. Even today, Linz's main square is still the venue for a large number of events and markets.
