Skulptur „Rothirschgeweih“

On the Moritzburg hiking route. "Der Auerweg" is where this impressive Mexican sculpture by Carlos Monge can be found. There are a few parking spaces in the immediate vicinity, as well as some seating options that invite you to linger.

Since 2002, the international sculpture symposium Moritzburg e.V. has been organizing international sculpture symposia in Moritzburg every two years. Sculptures created during the symposia are gradually placed in interesting places in and around Moritzburg and together form the “Moritzburg Sculpture Forest”.

Carlos Monge Sanchez created the sculpture "Red Deer Antlers".

A very nice sculpture.
There are also some free parking spaces at the "Hirschgeweih".

An unusual place for a work of art, but thematically appropriate to the forest.
