The observation tower was built in 1902/03 as the Bismarck Observatory or also as the Bismarck Tower Weinböhla. The tower is 20 meters high and offers a beautiful view of the Elbe Valley, Dresden and Meißen.
The key to the observation tower is available in the "Laubenschlösschen" restaurant for a small fee. 👍 This is about 100 meters from the tower.
However, you can also borrow a key from other locations.

"Peace Tower, so called since 1956, was consecrated under the name Bismarkwarte in 1903. The name" Hoher Turm "was also used occasionally. It is 20m high, 206m above sea level and 100m above the Elbe. The design and the execution The building was in the hands of the cultural technician Wilhelm Wießner, a patron of the Weinböhla community, who was also the father of the Burggrafenhain park.
The Friedenssturm was restored in 1956 by Heimatfreuden, thanks to the particularly strong commitment of master gardener Schäfer. At the foot of the tower is the Drais stone, dedicated to the inventor of the bicycle. "Https://weinboehla.de/weinboehla/content/18/20101109120945.asp
