Hiking
The BMX and skate park Schlachthof was opened in 2008 and borders directly on Galwik Park.
Every year on the Pentecost weekend, the Butcher Jam takes place here: a BMX festival with competitions involving international participants. In addition, there are stalls with snacks and drinks in the adjacent Galwik Park.
Here in the district, the Butcher Jam certainly has the character of a neighborhood festival.

Cycling
Only for BMX, street bike or dirt bike wheels - there is a bowl, various wallrides and ramps here - MTB or normal bikes are not welcome in the front, large area.
For MTB there is a separate dirt park area at the very back.
E-bikes, including E-MTBs, are unfortunately immediately and unfriendly chased off the premises...
On the premises there are also two kiosks, toilets, a soccer area, a skate park, a playground, a mini pump track and a basketball area.
