The fish sandwiches offered there are a poem! However, this is now known and there are regularly queues in front of the booth. The perseverance is worthwhile, however.

In 1725, the elders of the Flensburg Seamen's Association submitted a petition to the city council of Flensburg requesting the construction of a "crane,"
the proceeds of which would benefit the orphanage on Norderstraße.
In 1726, it was decided to build the new crane. With the help of this crane,
the masts of the ships built at the Flensburg shipyards were installed.
