The small village of Wollseifen was forcibly cleared by British forces after World War II and turned into a military training area. Only three buildings of the original village are still preserved. The former schoolhouse now has a small worthwhile exhibition on the history of the village.

Located very close to the former Nazi order castle Vogelsang, it is a good memorial against militarism and the war.
