    Wide valleys, expansive forests, and clear waters characterize the landscape of the Eifel National Park. The Rur and Urft rivers have shaped the low mountain range – you can get a glimpse of this from the numerous vantage points. Mixed beech and oak forests dominate the national park and provide a protected habitat for wildcats. Another special feature is the abundance of wild daffodils that bloom in the valley meadows in the south in spring. Impressive, species-rich nature awaits you across a good 100 square kilometers.
