The Dreieinigkeitskirche Rentweinsdorf was donated and built as one of the first and most important Protestant village churches of the aristocratic family Rotenhan. Construction began in 1597 and in 1601 the church was inaugurated.

The church was built in the late gothic style and is the successor of a chapel, which was demolished in 1607. The epitaph below the pulpit dates from the demolished castle chapel. In general, the epitaphs on the church walls, which are mostly from the 17th and 18th centuries, significant stonemasonry. From the year 1743 onwards, conversions and / or further equipments took place in the place of worship. the galleries moved in and acquired an organ. As a last acquisition, the imposing chandelier was acquired in 2001. The nave and the chancel are undercrowned. 48 members of the Rotenhan family are buried here. In 2001, the 400th anniversary of the church could be celebrated.

It is open during the day. Worth seeing are the Baroque pulpit, organ, and tombstones of the von Rotenhan family. Built in 1600.
