Gray Crag is a 2,293-foot (699 m) Wainwright fell in the Far Eastern Lake District National Park. Alfred Wainwright described this fell as a 'prominent object in the Hartsop landscape'. It has a long and slightly undulating ridge with drops on either side. It's difficult to determine the correct summit so I walked all the way to the end just in case! In his guidebooks, Alfred Wainwright's drawings show the summit as just to the north of the dry stone wall that crosses the fell.
