The Knott is a 2,425-foot (739 m) Wainwright in the Far Eastern Fells of the Lake District. If you approach this fell from Rampsgill Head then the ascent is very short as you've done all the hard work already! The Knott is a popular short detour on the Coast to Coast trail and it's very worthwhile for the spectacular views. A dry stone wall runs up the spine of this fell.
