The source has already had two name changes behind it: the original "Fallenhauquelle" was renamed "Georg-Amann-Quelle" in 1964, before being renamed "Faulhauquelle" again in 2021.
The metal sign "Georg-Amann-Quelle" on the pictures on the stone is no longer there: historical background: see zvw.de/lokales/weinstadt/nazi-b%C3%BCrgermeister-georg-amann- decision-% C3% BCber-new-name-f% C3% BCr-quelle-in-baach-vertagt_arid-265034)
- The spring used to be used to supply drinking water to the community of Schnait, among others
- today the spring has no drinking water quality (see information board)
