The 2555 m² cemetery on the road to Tunxdorf has 75 tombstones.

The cemetery, which existed at least since 1748, was occupied from 1805 to 1937. From 1954 it was owned by the Jewish Trust Corporation (JTC) and since 1959 it is owned by the National Association of Jewish Communities of Lower Saxony. For the cemetery care was from 1959 a nursery and is since 1982 the garden and cemetery Papenburg in charge. Since the beginning of the 20th century, destruction has repeatedly taken place in the cemetery: in the years 1912, 1928, 1929 and during the Nazi era gravestones were damaged. Even after the Second World War, it was violated, namely in 1949, 1953, 1955 and 1971. Repairs were made in the years 1951/1952, 1958, 1978, 1987 and 1989. (Source: Wikipedia)
