This statue was made by sculptor Myriam Eykens.
Myriam Eykens Born in 1938 in Belgium, studied at the art academy in Ghent together with Bert Servaes and Berten Coolens. After her studies she devoted herself entirely to the creation and distribution of her work: sculptures in bronze, stone, terracotta and pastel drawings. Since 1970 she has worked - in addition to individual exhibitions - on group exhibitions in Belgium, the Netherlands, Great Britain.
