"... Leubsdorf am Rhein is a small and romantic wine village (1500 inhabitants) in northern Rhineland-Palatinate, directly on the river of the Rhine.
From the banks of the Rhine you can only see part of the village, the older part meanders along gentle hills up to the nearby forest.
Down the Rhine you reach Linz, the "colorful city on the Rhine". Opposite Leubsdorf you can see on the left bank of the Rhine from Bad Breisig to Remagen and the Ahr valley. Upstream of the Rhine is Bad Hönningen with its famous hot spring.
The most striking points of Leubsdorf are the Gothic church towering on a rock, known as the "White Church of the Rhine", the moated castle crowned by four oriels and the numerous, lovingly cared for half-timbered buildings.
Until a few years ago, the Leubsdorf slopes were still cultivated with grapevines, today you can only find a few vineyards. ... "
