🏰Rheineck Castle🏰
On a hill near Bad Breisig 🧭 rests a formidable structure dating back to the 11th century. The Counts Palatine, who initially ruled from the 187-meter-high hill, had a perfect vantage point overlooking the Rhine and its banks.
The well-preserved Rheineck Castle is still inhabited today, but not open to the public 🛡⚔️🏰.
