Hiking
During my walk I passed this beautiful old lock, a silent witness to the water traffic of the past. The sturdy wooden doors and the hand-operated mechanism breathe history and craftsmanship. An atmospheric place to stand still for a moment, to enjoy the rippling water and to imagine what life was like here once.
