In the Großer Heuberg natural area, just a few kilometers from Denkingen and in the middle of the Upper Danube Nature Park, is the 1,002 meter high Hummelsberg. The Hummelsberg belongs to the group of the so-called "10 thousand".
These are the highest elevations in the Swabian Jura. The view from here extends across the Albvorland to the Black Forest. The Hummelsberg is located directly on the Albsteig and is an ideal starting point for hiking tours to Dreifaltigkeitsberg, just 3.7 kilometers away, or to Lemberg, 7.3 kilometers away.October 5, 2016

From here you have a wonderful view of Denkingen and Gosheim, and when the weather is right, an incredibly beautiful view of the entire region.

A wonderful view of the area from the eaves. We were there in cloudy and bad weather and were able to see a lot in the vicinity. Must be impressive when visibility is good!
