The Hohe Veitsch (1,981 meters) is a panoramic mountain that you can easily reach via the Schalleralm and the Graf-Meran-Haus or hike via the Nikolokreuz and the steep Teufelssteig. From the summit you can see the Rax, Schneealpe, Fischbacher Alps and Mariazeller mountains as well as the Hochschwab massif.
