Theo Rörig sees himself artistically as a boundary-crosser who does not allow himself to be one-sidedly co-opted. For him, the traditional unity of art and craft remains unchanged.
The "Helmköpfe" were financed in 1998 through a private donation. They complement the "Kopfplastiken" (head sculptures) erected in 1994 to form an ensemble. The head sculptures are symbolic guardians and protectors of the Schlosskirchenplatz.
This art object is station no. 25 on the cultural trail's signpost.
