A really impressive building in a prime location on Lake Starnberg, built in 1889. The complex in the neo-Romanesque style is characterized by bay windows, turrets, keep and a castle chapel. It has been owned by the Free State of Bavaria since the end of the Second World War and is now leased to “Wort des Lebens e.V.”, a Christian organization for children and young people.
