Right next to the fishermen's church of St. Clement stands the bronze statue commemorating Johann Adolfi Kösters, called Neocorus, who lived from 1550-1630. He became known as a chronicler mainly by his detailed descriptions of the customs and customs of the 16th century and not least the Battle of Hemmingstedt. He was also the second Büsum pastor. The statue was designed by Jens Rusch in 2009.
