Zephyr is led by Hedwig Snoeckx and makes replicas and reconstructions of people, animals and objects, often commissioned by (natural and prehistoric) museums. Almost all of these objects serve educational purposes and try to imitate reality as closely as possible. Hyperrealism that amazes people. (zephyr-wildlife.be/)
Zephyr specializes in 3D casts and reproductions of hominids and fossils and is known for its animal reproductions. The copies are made of polyester, epoxy, polyurethane or silicone and are cast on real animals and people, using the most modern molding techniques. They are then painted by hand or with airbrush, which makes them lifelike. The replicas are light, strong and require no maintenance. They are extremely suitable for museological or educational purposes.
It is the work of Hedwig Snoeckx.
