Kew Gardens is home to 50,000 different species of plants and has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site. With Victorian glasshouses, an Alpine rock garden, a Mediterranean Garden, an arboretum, plus much more, there is plenty to see.

Look out for the 5 "Old lions" trees, which have stood here since the gardens were established, i.e. for about 265 years. I found that very moving.
It's best to book your entrance online, it's a bit cheaper
