The year of construction of this half-timbered building can no longer be raised. Significant damage was reported in 1992, so there was a risk of collapse and the chapel had to be closed.

The Bauernkapelle owes its present condition to a private initiative. With a contract (11.11.1996), the parish ceded the use of the chapel for the purpose of renovation for a period of five years. Already on the 3rd of Advent in 1998, the re-initiation and the return to the parish took place.
