The Palace of Europe (French: Palais de l'Europe) is the seat of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg. The meetings of the Committee of Ministers and the Parliamentary Assemblies of the Council of Europe take place here. It also houses part of the Secretariat of the Council of Europe, including the offices of the Secretary General. From 1977 to 1999, the plenary sessions of the European Parliament also took place here. To this day, the European Parliament is connected to the Palace of Europe by a connecting corridor.
