The two-part Gladbach moated castle is located in a floodplain on the outskirts of the town. Its ditches are fed by the Neffelbach. It was redesigned until the recent past. Branches of the Sieger family of manufacturers from Zülpich lived here until the middle of the 20th century. From 1971 it belonged to a descendant of the family that had previously operated the Zülpich brown coal opencast mines. In 1995 he founded the non-profit F. Victor Rolff Foundation. It maintains the castle and promotes regional education, art and nature conservation projects.
