Short break in Kleinwalsertal. The famous functional enclave in Austria 🇦🇹 offers a breathtaking backdrop with its green mountains and delicious food. The hike from the Zaferna Hütte to Baad is a good introduction to mountain hiking.

Today we went through the lowlands, along the Erft to Kerpen, then along the Neffelbach to Nörvenich and back through villages and fields in the Börde. I was in Wissersheim for the first time and marveled at the water tower, which I otherwise only knew from a distance.

Evening round along the Swist to Heimerzheim and back via the Ville. The mood was top again despite the crowds. Cozy forests on the high plain and the view of the Eifel are enough for a feeling of euphoria.

Today, a decelerated local exploration at an optimal 22 degrees after a week with bronchitis.
