The 7km long Way of Faith between Wietmarschen and Lohne is the first pilgrimage route in the Diocese of Osnabrück. It begins at the pilgrimage church in Wietmarschen, is initially an agricultural path from Wietmarschen and then runs almost straight across the "Alten Diek", past the Lohne recreational lake, to the Heimathaus in Lohne. Despite being an agricultural path, it is very suitable as a cycle path.

The Way of Faith features numerous sculptures made from Bentheim sandstone with messages engraved on them. They are intended to be stumbling blocks.
