The new fountain, which was inaugurated in 2007 on the Pillnitz village square, is located above the piped Friedrichsgrundbach and visualizes its course. The fountain consists of a cylindrical shaft that makes the stream visible and three water basins made of Saxon sandstone and reddish Finnish granite, reminiscent of the original shape of the previous fountain.
