The "Zum Heiligen Geist" vineyard church in Pillnitz.
A baroque village church, named after its location in the Royal Vineyard and built from 1723 as a replacement for the Pillnitz Castle Church, which was demolished for the expansion of Pillnitz Castle. It is considered the "symbol of the Pillnitz landscape".

This vineyard church is a highlight among the beautiful vineyards.
With the existence of the Interest Group Weinbergkirche e.V., not only a monument preservation gem has been saved from decay since May 1990, but a sign of departure, redesign and future visions with this Pöppelmann Church, visible from afar, by citizens of the Elbe slope and other committed people in town and country.
The vineyard church "Zum Heiligen Geist" is used for church services, concerts and events.
