Hiking
Deep in the Eifel forests lie silent witnesses to a military past. American tanks, abandoned after decades of NATO training, are scattered across old training grounds. What was once roaring steel is now weathered and overgrown – a strange contrast between war and nature. Hikers who manage to find them will encounter these rusty behemoths as if they were an open-air museum without signs. Quiet, mysterious, and impressive.
