The Cathedral Cemetery had six entrances, two of which were old arched stone gates, also called footbridges. Five of the entrances used to have gates, but today only two of them remain.
This medieval churchyard gate is the northern gate of the Cathedral Cemetery and the oldest. Judging by the decorative details, this "Visby Gate" must have been built in the first half of the 14th century.
