The Gotlands Bryggeri is a Swedish micro brewery from Gotland that has existed since 1995, it took less than a year from the first idea to the first beer produced in the Gotlands Bryggeri. In the summer of 1994, Johan Spendrup got a call from his father who told him to set up a brewery on the idyllic island of Gotland until next summer, but it seemed impossible to him but Johan gave up his work in a brewery in Norway and brewed in the summer of 1995 her first beer, the Wisby Monastery Oil.
