The Papenpolder and the associated Papenkreek is a polder northwest of Middelburg, belonging to the polders around Aardenburg.

The Papenpolder was drained in 1700 as part of the Lapscheurse Gat. The remainder of this sea channel is still present as a narrow watercourse with the name Papenkreek. This formed the border between the Northern and Southern Netherlands, nowadays the border between the Netherlands and Belgium.

The Papenpolder is an international polder. The Papenpolder 1st part is on Belgian territory; the Papenpolder 2nd part is on Dutch territory and has a surface area of 45 ha. The Belgian part is approximately the same size.

The Papenpolder is located between border posts 352 and 354.
