From the head of the Kleine Wiesental valley, there are many diverse hiking opportunities. Ideal parking areas are Haldenhof and Kreuzwegsattel. The imposing Belchen summit with its clearly visible Belchenhaus mountain hut is always a dominant feature.

Worthwhile destinations include Belchen, Köhlgarten, Sirnitz, Kälbelescheuer, and Nonnenmattweiher lake.
