The section from Weiherkopf to the road leads along a very narrow path through protected forest. From the Weiherkopf plateau, only a foot-wide track descends. This section is far less frequented than other approaches to Sirnitz and Kälbelescheuer, but it is well worth the effort, as the view from Weiherkopf is magnificent.

However, in difficult weather conditions (snow, ice), it is best to avoid this route, as the terrain in the forest is very steep and the path can become partially obscured.
