Like pearls strung together on a string, the museums in the Wangen museum landscape nestle together. The entrance is at the large mill wheel. With one entry you can experience the small but fine museums in a former mill, the “Eselmühle”.
The building of the current bathhouse was built in 1589. The bathing culture of the time was cultivated here. Today, the historic bathhouse with the cross vault and the medieval bathhouse furnishings are the highlight of a museum visit or tour.

The donkey fountain in front of the "Stiefel" inn on the Eselsberg near the donkey mill is reminiscent of a fable by the Greek poet Aesop, in which a donkey plays an important role.
