The church stands out for its neoclassical façade flanked by two bell towers. The Iglesia del Socorro, although not as old as other churches in Ronda, has a deep cultural and religious significance for the local community. The current structure was inaugurated in 1956, replacing an earlier church destroyed during the Spanish Civil War. Despite its relatively young age, the church continues the long tradition of veneration of the Virgin of Socorro in Ronda.
