Best Hikes to Puente Árabe (Arab Bridge)

Tips

  • The old town is separated from the younger district, El Mercadillo, which was built after the conquest by the Spaniards, by the over 80 m deep gorge El Tajo.

The abyss in the city center is overshadowed by the late 18th century Puente Nuevo ("New Bridge"). From Plaza María Auxiliadora, there is a dirt road leading down to the viewpoint, from where you can enjoy the famous view of Ronda with the Puente Nuevo.
