Uina Gorge: A former smuggler trail, easy to hike from the Plantapatsch hut to the Sesvennahütte and across the Schlinigpass into Switzerland and down into the Uina gorge.

Hiked this tour from Schlinig ... there and back = double the pleasure in the gorge, because you can't get enough of yourself. By the way, you should be free from giddiness!

Absolute highlight. You have to go through it.

Breathtaking in the truest sense of the word. For people like me, with fear of heights, the steel cables are very helpful. Stay in front of each wall attachment for a short while, reach around and continue. Gloves would have been helpful.

An experience! But not recommended for people with vertigo.

Very impressive gorge with the path hewn into the rock. You should be sure-footed, especially if you meet a cyclist.

I did this tour years ago in spring. There was still a good deal of snow in the area, although we had had very warm weather down in the valley for days. Definitely ask locals, because wearing a pair of bicycles on Harsch is not completely risk-free!

Brilliant! Absolutely worth seeing. Hammer impressions from the gorge. As my previous speaker and hiking friend Günther with whom I was on tour there, I don't need to repeat.
    Ingenious but tight schedule

Absolutely interesting tour. Started in the rain at the Plantapatsch hut, so in the morning we were the only ones on the way. But shortly after the Sesvennahütte the sun was there. After the Uina gorge turned around, as we wanted to go back to Plantapatsch. A little tight schedule, but we had just caught the last departure, lucky.

Forces of nature and pure nature. Except for the loud rustling of the torrent and the wind, nothing can be heard.
Tip: The gorge was previously used as a smuggling route and was expanded for hikers from 1896 to 1902. The 1 km long tunnels were hand-driven into the mountain

Crazy Gorge, an old smugglers' trail. Pictures speak for themselves. It's easy to walk through. I recommend using sticks. There is also a holding wire rope in many places.
