Dreisprachenspitze and Rifugio Garibaldi

The Garibaldi Hut / Rifugio Garibaldi is located at the Dreisprachenspitze at 2,843 meters. From a distance it looks like a small fortress. Here you can stay overnight and be the first to drive the Goldseeweg in the morning before the temporary closure for mountain bikers.

The language areas German (South Tyrol, formerly Austria-Hungary), Italian (Lombardia) and Romansh (Graubünden) meet at the top of the three languages.

The Dreisprachenspitze (Italian Cima Garibaldi) is a 2,843 meter high mountain on the border between Switzerland and Italy. This is where the Italian, German and Rhaeto-Romanic language areas come together. Interesting for mountain bikers: the famous Goldseetrail begins here.
