Piz Umbrail Super Trail

In my opinion, this is no longer up to date. We rode the trail on September 2nd, 2024 and did not see any signs restricting use between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. In fact, people are now asking not to ride the trail on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, as the postal hiking bus from Val Vau brings many hikers to the region. It is therefore better to go on other days to avoid conflicts.
Another tip: Be sure to climb from the Umbrail Pass road (Swiss customs) and not take the route over the Boca Forcola and further to Punta di Rims like we did. It is a dangerous ridge crossing and not recommended with a mountain bike!!! Lots of carrying, climbing and scree passages with the risk of falling. Very time-consuming.

Attention - only before 10 o'clock and after 15 o'clock with the bicycle allowed!

Great trail. Initially steep and very rocky. From Lago di Rims, it becomes flowing with many switchbacks. Requires advanced technique.
