La Voix du Nord is an Art Deco building from the 20th century, built entirely of reinforced concrete. But still with a Flemish stepped gable. At the top there are three gilded female statues. On the left is Artois, in the middle is Flanders and on the right Hainaut. They symbolize the regions where the daily newspaper is available. The house of the royal guards used to be here.

Between the Furet du Nord and the Old Stock Exchange on the south side of the Grand Place is the home of the newspaper publisher "La Voix du Nord" - unmistakable thanks to its step-shaped roof, at the top with the "Three Graces" three more female figures enthrone. The golden statues represent the three historical provinces of Artois, Hainault and Flanders. The 28 windows on the front of the building symbolize the 28 issues of the newspaper.
