Eugen Schauman's beautiful park is located in Kulosaari next to the Casino.
The park got its new name in 1958 after the rebel-minded Eugen Schauman, who became famous after killing Russian Governor-General Nikolai Bobrikov, who trampled on the rights of Finns, on the stairs of the State Council Castle in 1904.
