Pikkukoski Beach

Pikkukoski beach has soft sand and there are also large grassy areas and playing fields in the area. The beach deepens very quickly and the river can have strong currents. The beach is located along the Vantaanjoki River and is about a 20-minute walk from Oulunkylä train station.You can see the water quality, temperature and blue-green algae information for the beach in the summer on the ulkoliikunta.fi map service. Lifeguards monitor the beach during the beach season.In addition to a changing room, shower and toilet, you will also find a sauna, basketball court, beach volleyball court, outdoor gym and outdoor fitness area on the beach. The sauna is open to the public and free of charge every Wednesday and Saturday. There are no diving towers on the beach. LifeguardsServices: changing room, toilet, shower, sauna, fitness equipment, outdoor exercise area, beach volleyball court and basketball court. Changing rooms are open during lifeguard hours, but close about half an hour before the end of work.
