Central square (actually consisting of 3 separate squares) in Cesena that has recently been completely renovated and made car-free. The square is lined with important monuments, such as the Palazzo dei Ridotti and the Biblioteca Malatestiana.
* Marquis Lodovico Almerici, born in 1847 and died in 1917, was a prominent figure in the Catholic community of Cesena. His vision and legacy have formed the basis for the foundation, which focuses on providing education and support to young people in need.
* Maurizio Bufalini (1787-1875) was a prominent Italian physician from Cesena, known for his revolutionary approach to medical education and practice. He had a lasting influence on the medical community in Italy. The Maurizio Bufalini Hospital in Cesena is named after him in honour of his contributions to medicine.
* Arnaldo Fabbri was a local resistance fighter who fought against the Fascist and Nazi occupation of Italy during World War II. His courage and sacrifice are commemorated by the square that bears his name.
