From 1660 to 1677 they stayed in the guesthouse just outside the Sint-Truidensepoort, after which they moved into the former refuge house of Oplinter on the Gete. The current complex was built on this site in 1846, designed by Franciscus Drossaert, architect of the city of Tienen.
In 1975 a new retirement home was built in the former monastery garden.
