The bridge over the Hasenburger Bach, near the Ilmenau, was rebuilt in 2018, in old craftsmanship and pure handcraft. This was initiated and carried out by the Lüneburg offshoot "Kesurokai e.V." and the city of Lüneburg. Even the trees were felled by hand in the old tradition.

"Kesurokai - Planing Together" was founded in Japan to cultivate and preserve ancient traditions of craftsmanship. The movement has spread worldwide and in Lüneburg now this beautiful result can be admired.
