A little piece of new Mülheim an der Ruhr. The city harbor offers the leisure captains of the Rhine and Ruhr new opportunities to moor. For the "White Fleet" and other major river cruise ships / ships, a so-called "Steiger" on the promenade shore is now available all year round for landing. The station is of course called "Ruhrpromenade" and is barrier-free. The food is well received and invites you to linger. The restoration of the historic towpath directly on the water has also been successful. Events are increasingly taking place on the harbor square, a unique location with a grandiose, almost Mediterranean atmosphere in the summer. The promenade will be further developed in the next few years and the area between the former railway bridge, the future Radschnellweg Rheinische Bahn and the Konrad-Adenauer-Brücke will be over-planned.
